AMPS

AMPS

Amps are the rewards you earn for taking care of your HV and garnering votes on your forge. Every player who participates in Forge will receive one Amp at the end of each season, and you must have at least 3 Amps to unlock the next evolution of HVs. (Reminder: There will be 6 seasons of Forge.)

Amps come in five class rarities — Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, or Legendary. The rarity that you earn depends on your leaderboard rank at the end of a season, which will be based on the points you earn on each daily leaderboard.

Amps will initially be attached to your HV’s save data (off-chain), not to your wallet. When it’s time for your HVs to evolve, Amps will be brought on-chain, at which point you’ll be able to burn them to evolve your HV.

Once Amps are on-chain, they’ll be tradeable, so you will also be able to obtain other Amps that will influence your HV’s evolution.

Any HV will be able to burn a minimum of 3 AMPs and up to 6 AMPs that will result in additional Power Score modifiers. The number and rarity of AMPs burned will come into play as HVs make their way into Legends of the Mara. Modifiers per number of AMPs burned are listed below:

Remember, AMPs are meant to be burned to customize, evolve, and improve your HV!

POWER SCORES AND FINAL

POWER SCORES

A HV’s Power Score will be generated based off of the sum of its total Rift stats, divided by 6 (the number of stat categories). The Power Score is then multiplied by total modifier earned (if any) to get a Final Power Score. Power Scores and Final Power Scores will be rounded to the nearest whole number.

Here is an example of the calculations at work:

  • Sum of stats = 2000.

  • Sum 2000/6 = Power Score of 333 (rounded)

  • Modifiers: 15% (from Leaderboard) + 5% (from Max Energy) + 6% (from 6 AMPs burned) = 26% Total Modifier

  • Power Score x Total Modifier = 333 x 1.26 = 420 Final Power Score

VOTES & LIKES

VOTES & LIKES

Forges can be voted on by other players. The more votes your Forge receives, the better your score and your HV potential evolution.

Daily Leaderboards: Based on those votes, you will be given a rank on a daily basis. Daily leaderboards will award Energy, in-game items, and points towards the seasonal leaderboard.

Seasonal Leaderboards: Your seasonal leaderboard rank is based on points across the daily leaderboards. At the end of a season, everyone who participated will receive a reward (Amp), but those with the most votes will receive the rarest Amps.
